How to Lodge your Complaint Online?

SCORES

You are required to create an account on SCORES using THIS LINK. For account creation you are required to enter following information:

  • Name
  • E-mail Address
  • Address of Correspondence
  • City/Location
  • Pin code
  • State/UT
  • PAN Number
  • Phone Number
  • Mobile Number (For receiving SMS) – Enter a valid mobile number of 10 digits without first digit as 0 and +91 e.g. 9876543210
  • Aadhar Number
  • CKYC Id
  • Bank Account number of the Investor

Listed Companies

Before filing a complaint with SEBI, you are required to file a complaint with the concerned intermediary / listed company for redressal of your grievance first. If you don’t receive any proper reply/resolution from the intermediary/company, then you can lodge your grievance with SEBI.

In most cases, you need to Enter the name of the intermediary/company against which you’d like to file your grievance.

Refund/Allotment/ Dividend/Transfer/Bonus/Rights/ Redemption/Interest

When you are going to file complaint against your DP, you are required to mention your DP ID and client ID in the requisite fields. In some cases you are also required to select whether you hold shares in physical form or electronic form.

In case you’d like to file your complaint against a depository then you need to mention its name in the complaint along with Value of Claim in Rupees (if any) and upload supporting documents with your complaint.

This information shall be treated as confidential and will be analysed. If found necessary, further action will be taken by SEBI. The status of information cannot be ascertained as SEBI conducts the investigations confidentially in a holistic manner.

How to Lodge your Complaint Offline?

You can lodge your grievance with SEBI using snail mail as well. All you need to do is to send your grievance to them in plain sheet of paper with other relevant documents (photocopies).

If SEBI takes up your grievance then they will send you your unique complaint registration number via snail mail.
