1. Access the Portal

Visit bharatkeveer.gov.in or download the official Bharat Ke Veer app (by NIC eGov Mobile Apps).

2. Filter for BSF Martyrs
By default, the list shows martyrs from all forces (CRPF, BSF, etc.). You need to filter it.

Click on the Bravehearts tab.
Look for the search bar or filter option.
In the Select Force dropdown, choose Border Security Force (BSF).
This will display a list of BSF personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty and whose families need financial support.

3. Select a Profile

Click on a soldier's photo to see their details and the incident description.
You will see a progress bar showing how much has been contributed to that family.
Note: There is a cap of 15 Lakhs per family. If a family has already received this amount, the portal will not accept more for that specific individual. In that case, choose another martyr or donate to the Bharat Ke Veer Corpus Fund.

4. Make the Contribution

Click I would like to contribute.
Enter the amount.
Enter your Name, Email, and Mobile Number (for OTP).
Enter your PAN Number (Crucial for Tax Certificate).
Complete payment via Net Banking, Credit Card, or UPI.

5. Download Certificate

Once the transaction is successful, you can instantly download a Certificate of Contribution which serves as proof for your tax filing.

If you do not want to select a specific individual, you can donate to the Bharat Ke Veer Corpus Fund.

• Fake UPI IDs: Scammers often circulate UPI IDs like bsf-donation@upi or army-fund@upi. These are fake. The BSF never collects money via personal UPI IDs on WhatsApp. Always use the government portal.
