How to Download Videos from a Public or Private Telegram Channel or Group where both forwarding and downloading options has been disabled?

Follow these steps:

Step 1: Install Unigram on Your PC

Go to Microsoft Store on your Windows PC. Search for Unigram and click on it. Click Install and wait for the installation to complete. In case your Windows Operating system don't have Microsoft Store then you can download Unigram from here: https://github.com/UnigramDev/Unigram

Step 2: Login to Your Telegram Account

Open Unigram after installation. Log in using your Telegram account. You can either scan the QR code from your phone or enter your phone number and verification code. Once logged in, you will have access to all your Telegram chats, including private channels.

Step 3: Open the Telegram Channel or Group from where you want to download the video

Once inside Unigram, navigate to the private channel or group that contains the video you want to download. Open the video and let it download completely. Even though the download option is disabled, Unigram automatically stores media files on your computer.

Step 4: Find the Video File on Your Computer

Unigram saves media files in a hidden folder on your PC. To access it, open File Explorer by pressing `[Win + E]` on your keyboard and navigate to a location on your PC that looks something like this:

C:\Users\<your-username>\AppData\Local\Packages\1584FF26BA1D.UnigramPreview_g9c9v87vpospw\LocalState\0

Here <your-username> is your actual Windows username.

If you are using the newer version of Unigram, then you have to go to a location on your PC that looks something like this:

C:\Users\<your-username>\AppData\Local\Packages\TelegramFZ-LLC.Unigram_1vh7ioyjmzqy\LocalState\0

This folder contains all the media files, including videos from Telegram.

Step 5: Copy and Save the Video

Inside the folder, you will find various media files. Look for a file with a large size and a `.mp4` extension, as this is likely your video. The file may not have a recognizable name, but you can check the details such as file size and modification date to find the correct one.

Once you find the video, right-click on it and select Copy. Then, paste it into another folder, such as your Desktop or Downloads folder, to ensure you have easy access to it.

Step 6: Rename and Play the Video

After copying the video file, you may need to rename it so that it can be easily recognized. Right-click on the file, select Rename, and add `.mp4` at the end of the file name (e.g., video.mp4).

Once renamed, you can open the file using VLC Media Player or any other video player. The video should now play without any issues.

That's it! 🎉
